Join us to help shape how our people work, grow and deliver for Swindon.
We are reshaping how we work at Swindon Borough Council so we can deliver better outcomes for residents, strengthen services and continue building a modern, ambitious and prevention\-focused organisation.
We are looking for two Colleague Experience Partners to join our At Our Best team, which leads the Council’s People Strategy, our commitment to helping colleagues best serve our residents.
These roles focus on leadership, organisational change and workforce development.
A bit more about us. We're a large and complex organisation delivering more than 200 services every day, with ambitious plans for the future of the borough and the way we work as a Council. Working across all our services and teams, you’ll help turn ideas into practical improvements that colleagues can genuinely see and feel, supporting stronger services and better outcomes for residents and communities.
We are looking for people who can build credibility quickly, work confidently across organisational boundaries and deliver meaningful organisational improvement at pace.
You’ll need experience of organisational development, leadership, workforce improvement or organisational change within large or complex organisations, alongside strong facilitation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
This is an opportunity to join the Council at an important time and play a visible role in shaping the future colleague experience across Swindon Borough Council.
We believe that when colleagues are at their best, we are better able to support residents, strengthen communities and deliver great public services.
*You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act “for the effective performance of a customer\-facing role”).*
