Applications are invited for above position:

Requirements:

Each candidate must:

Be registered on the general division of the register of nurses maintained by Nursing Midwifery Board of Ireland (Essential).

Have at least 3\-5 years post registration experience in an acute setting (Essential).

Have a degree or higher diploma in Theatre Nursing (Desirable).

Have completed a management training programme (Desirable).

Have a minimum of one year's management experience (Desirable).

Have Robotic Theatre experience (Desirable).

Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work on his/her own initiative.

Good IT skills, with ability to use Microsoft packages.

Excellent organisational, planning and leadership skills.

Be enthusiastic and highly motivated.

Evidence of commitment to professional development

Have proven clinical and professional ability

The post holder must possess the skills to deal with staff at all levels, the public, consultants etc.

Competency in the English language is a requirement for the post.
