CNC Machine Operator / Setter

• Annual Salary: £27,000 - £30,000


• Location: Redhill, RH1


• Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

We are seeking a CNC Machine Operator / Setter to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for manufacturing who is eager to develop their skills in a modern production environment. Due to our location, access to your own vehicle is necessary, with free onsite parking available.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Prepare and operate CNC machines for various machining processes including drilling, milling, and turning.


• Load raw materials and components into machines.


• Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet technical and quality standards.


• Perform de-burring and cleaning of finished parts as required.


• Empty swarf trays and maintain a clean and organised work area.


• Adhere to company procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and health & safety guidelines at all times.


• Work collaboratively with colleagues to foster a positive team environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in CNC machining is desirable but not essential.


• Team-oriented with a strong safety-conscious mindset.


• A passion for manufacturing and engineering.


• Willingness to undertake further training and development.


• Ability to work the evening shift pattern from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM, Monday to Thursday.
