Are you an experienced CNC Miller looking for a varied role within a precision engineering environment?

Our client is looking for a CNC Miller / Programmer / Setter to join their manufacturing team, producing high\-quality precision components using modern CNC milling machinery.

You’ll be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines, working with Fanuc, Heidenhain and/or Mazatrol control systems, producing components to tight tolerances and ensuring consistently high standards of quality and accuracy.

The Role

• Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines


• Programming using Fanuc, Heidenhain and/or Mazatrol control systems


• Working across 3, 4 and 5\-axis machining centres


• Producing precision\-engineered components to tight tolerances


• Selecting appropriate tooling and optimising machining processes


• Troubleshooting programming, machining and equipment issues

The Candidate

• Proven experience as a CNC Miller / Programmer / Setter


• Strong CNC milling and programming experience


• Experience with one or more of Fanuc, Heidenhain or Mazatrol control systems


• Experience setting and operating CNC milling machines


• Experience with 3, 4 or 5\-axis machining would be advantageous


• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
