This role would suit a skilled Centreless Grinder with experience setting and operating manual grinding machinery who is confident working from engineering drawings and manufacturing precision aerospace components to tight tolerances.
The Role
- Set and operate Centreless Grinding machinery
- Work with Wickman Scrivener, Ghiringhelli, Cincinnati or Tschadun grinders
- Support second-operation machinery including deburring, marking and inspection processes
- Carry out first-off inspections and in-process quality checks
- Manufacture precision aerospace components to tight tolerances
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Centreless Grinder / Grinder Setter / Grinder Operator background
- Aerospace or precision engineering manufacturing experience
- Experience setting and operating manual Centreless Grinding machinery
