About us: St James’s Hospital is Ireland’s largest acute academic teaching hospital and is based in Dublin’s south inner city. Our fundamental purpose is the delivery of health treatment, care and diagnosis as well as health promotion and preventative services at local, regional and national levels. Purpose of the role: The post holder will be responsible for the provision of the highest standard of nursing care to patients, manage all nursing and allied staff in the Anaesthetics/Recovery area in Day Surgery, and be responsible for maintaining and developing professional standards.
