Clinical / Integrated Support Worker Higher Level (Richmond Community)

We are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Clinical Support Worker (Higher Level) to support the Richmond Community Nursing Team based at The Friary Hospital 9 Queens Rd, Richmond DL10 4AJ.
There is an expectation, at times to cover service need, the candidate may be asked to work to support another community nursing team within Hambleton \& Richmondshire/MRC locality.
Currently our core service hours are between 0800 \- 1800 Monday \- Sunday however this is currently under review and potentially our future working hours will be between 0800 hours \- 2000 hours.
Successful candidates will be experienced in working in a health care setting however community experience would be an advantage and candidates must have:
Numeracy and Literacy Level 2
Care certificate (willing to work towards if already holds
NVQ level 3\)
Level 3 vocational qualification
or
Short courses and completion of competency workbook
equivalent to Level 3 in a range of patient and clinical care
duties and/or Equivalent knowledge and experience in a
range of clinical care duties equivalent to Level 3;
- Theoretical knowledge
- Experience of a range of care and related procedures.
- clinical observations
- knowledge of relevant legislation
The post holder has a personal responsibility and duty of care to patients/service users; they are expected to comply fully with all Trust policies and protocols, including those related to patient safety and the prevention of healthcare associated infections. They must also promote dignity, privacy, and respect to deliver compassionate, safe, high quality patient care.
Successful candidate must have access to a vehicle for work purposes to meet the requirements of the role.
