About the role

Are you an experienced professional ready to take on a diverse leadership role as a Clinical Imaging Facility Manager? You will lead the strategic and operational delivery of a interdisciplinary imaging facility, supporting high\-quality clinical research and innovation. This is a varied role combining team management, technical expertise and partnership development.
What you would be doing
---------------------------
In this role, you will lead the management and operations of the Clinical Imaging Facility, ensuring the delivery of high\-quality, efficient and compliant imaging services to researchers and external partners. You will manage and develop a specialist team, oversee complex imaging equipment and provide expert technical advice to support research design, funding applications and data interpretation.
You will also drive the strategic growth of the facility, building partnerships across academia, the NHS and industry, developing new income streams and contributing to business planning and financial sustainability. Alongside this, you will ensure robust health and safety practices, regulatory compliance and high standards of training for all users of the facility.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual who can lead a specialist facility and support high\-quality clinical research.
- Demonstrable experience in MRI and/or PET\-CT imaging, with the ability to provide expert technical advice
- Proven experience managing, developing and motivating a team
- Strong financial and operational management skills, including budget management and service delivery
- Ability to build effective partnerships and engage with academic, NHS, and external stakeholders
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and commitment to maintaining compliant working practices
- Proactive, adaptable and solutions\-focused, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment
- Ability to contribute to strategic planning, service development and continuous improvement

This is a full\-time, open\-ended post (35 hours per week) based at our Hammersmith Campus.
