Job overview

We are currently looking for a highly motivated, communicative team player with excellent interpersonal skills to support the paediatric echocardiography department in clinical duties and research.

It is a great opportunity to acquire extensive exposure to a full range of congenital and acquired cardiac anomalies. The post holder will have opportunities to train in advanced echocardiography technics in congenital heart disease, including 3D reconstruction, functional analysis and stress echocardiography.

The post holder will be involved in the echocardiography educational program.

All staff are encouraged to participate in teaching and research and are given support with their continuing professional development to attend lectures, seminars and relevant courses.

Main duties of the job

The Cardiology Department of Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Trust is a world\-renowned tertiary referral centre for children with congenital and acquired heart problems. The unit offers a full range of diagnostic and interventional cardiac assessments and procedures, with certain procedures and assessments uniquely performed at this institution.
