The Opportunity
We are partnering with a growing and highly regarded wealth management business seeking an experienced Client Services Manager to lead and develop a multi-site client services team across Bristol, Birmingham and Wimborne. This is an excellent opportunity for an established people manager who enjoys coaching teams, improving processes and delivering an exceptional client experience.
The successful candidate can be based from any of the 2 office locations, provided they are flexible to travel regularly between sites. Travel expenses will be fully covered, with an expectation of spending time in each office to support and develop the wider team.
The Role
Working closely with senior leadership, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, development and performance of the client services function, ensuring high standards of service delivery, operational efficiency and team engagement across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and support a team of Client Service Executives across multiple offices.
- Prioritise workloads and resource allocation to ensure service standards and deadlines are consistently met.
- Conduct regular one-to-one meetings, performance reviews and annual appraisals.
- Drive employee engagement, development and succession planning.
- Identify training needs and implement development plans across the team.
- Support recruitment activities and onboarding of new team members.
- Promote best practice and process improvement across the client services function.
- Work closely with advisers, senior management and wider business functions.
- Assist with complaint investigations, risk event reviews and operational projects.
- Support business changes, new process implementation and team training initiatives.
- Ensure a consistently high standard of client service is maintained throughout the business.
We're looking for a strong people leader with experience managing administration or client service teams within a financial planning, wealth management, investment management or similar regulated environment.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven line management experience within a financial services environment.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end client service and administration processes.
- Experience leading, mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
- Ability to manage performance, set objectives and support career development.
- Strong organisational and workload management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Process improvement mindset with the ability to identify and implement efficiencies.
- Comfortable working across multiple locations and managing geographically dispersed teams.
- Ability to influence, challenge and collaborate with colleagues at all levels.
- Salary up to £55,000
