Cleaning Supervisor (Working Supervisor)

Cleaning Supervisor required.

Monitor Cleaning Services is recruiting for a Cleaning Supervisor to join our established team at Crawley Town Hall.

We are looking for a reliable and experienced individual who can supervise and support the cleaning team while also taking an active part in cleaning duties. You will be responsible for helping to ensure that cleaning is completed to a consistently high standard and that the team works safely and effectively.

Position Details

• Location: Crawley Town Hall


• Days: Monday to Friday


• Hours: 11\.83 hours per week


• Shift: 5:30pm – approximately 7:52pm


• Pay: £14\.45 per hour


• Job Type: Part\-time

*Duties Will Include:*

• Monitoring performance of the cleaning team by carrying out regular checks of all areas of the building


• Contribute to all cleaning tasks, where required to assist the cleaning team.


• Manage and maintain cleaning stores and consumables.


• Effectively organise the cleaning duties of the Cleaning Operatives.


• Working closely with the Area Manager to delegate and share in supervisory tasks where necessary.


• Effectively arrange cover and overtime when there are staff absences or additional tasks to be carried out.


• Ensuring that equipment is safe to use and in good working order, reporting all defects of equipment to the client/Area Manager.


• Training \& HR responsibilities for new starters


• Health \& Safety responsibilities \- Ensuring adherence to Monitor Cleaning Services Health \& Safety Policy and Procedures including COSHH and PPE requirements at all times.


• Reporting all incidents/accidents promptly and taking corrective action where required.


• Helping create a positive safety culture across the team.

• Previous experience as a cleaning supervisor is essential.


• Experience in staffing, rotas, and training.


• Excellent customer service skills.


• A willingness to learn new things and a flexible approach to work tasks.


• Excellent attention to detail required.


• Hardworking, reliable, punctual and trustworthy
