Sodexo is looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment. You’ll play an important role in ensuring all allocated areas are cleaned and serviced to the high standards expected by both Sodexo and SFRS.

You’ll be responsible for carrying out a range of cleaning duties as directed by the Line Manager, taking pride in delivering a consistently high standard of cleanliness and service.

What you'll do:

• Maintain high cleaning standards across all allocated areas, completing daily, weekly and periodic tasks efficiently and on time.


• Use cleaning equipment, materials and chemicals safely, following COSHH guidelines and only using equipment after appropriate training.


• Maintain a safe working environment by using appropriate safety signage and promptly reporting hazards, faulty equipment, accidents and other incidents.


• Keep cleaning stores and equipment clean, tidy and secure, ensuring supplies are monitored and low stock levels are reported.


• Maintain professional standards of personal hygiene and appearance, attend required training and meetings, provide cover when needed, and respond to reasonable management requests.

What you bring:

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable.


• Good knowledge of cleaning products and chemicals.


• Strong customer service skills and a professional approach.


• Methodical and organised approach to work.


• Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
