Shift Pattern: Tuesday to Saturday

Start Time: 4:00 AM

Shift Length: 8 hours per day

About the Role We are recruiting an experienced Class 1 Shunter Driver to join a busy logistics and distribution site in Cornwall. This role involves safely moving trailers around the yard and positioning them in and out of loading docks to support smooth warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities • Shunting trailers safely around the depot yard.

• Moving trailers in and out of loading docks.


• Conducting vehicle and trailer safety checks.


• Ensuring all trailer movements are completed efficiently and safely.


• Communicating with warehouse and transport teams.


• Following all health and safety procedures.


• Reporting any vehicle, trailer, or site issues promptly.

Requirements • Valid Class 1 (Category CE) Licence.

• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.


• Shunter experience is desirable, although experienced Class 1 (CE) drivers will also be considered.


• Understanding of yard safety procedures.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
