Claims Handler
Overview
Saints Reconstruction are seeking a dedicated Claims Handler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing insurance claims efficiently and professionally, ensuring accurate processing and excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to develop your organisational and clerical skills within a supportive environment.
Duties
· To manage your allocated Team’s emails via the shared inbox \& answer queries in a timely manner to policyholders/clients
· To call policyholders/clients to resolve queries/request information, as necessary.
· To raise new claims received from clients onto RClaim and contact policyholders to book in site visits for the Contract Manager within client’s SLA then update portal.
· To manage your claims via the dashboard and ensure your claims are always progressing.
· To contact policyholders to make contact when booking in jobs.
· To request collection of Excess payments to accounts
· To request Material choices from Policyholders.
· To ensure parking permits/waste/welfare are arranged where required.
· To ensure the trades in your team are always booked up and have a backup plan for when jobs may be cancelled.
· To work with Contract Manager when booking in new jobs to discuss required trades/sub\-contractors \& material orders.
· To manage the calendar on RClaim \& ensure accurate and up to date information updated.
· To support the Contract Manager in his objective of efficiently managing the jobs and achieving the targeted profit margin
· To liaise with Finance \& Contract Manager when requesting order of materials to site/office
· To liaise with clients, policyholders, Contract Managers or Trades to keep the claim progressing.
· To ensure jobs on RClaim are in the correct status from New Instruction to Works Completed
· To ensure start and completion dates are up to date and accurate on RClaim \& client’s portals.
· To check tracking system every morning at 8am to ensure your trades are onsite/enroute and if not phone to find out where they are so you can update policyholder \& if trade is not in then to inform accounts/HR of absence.
· To pass through completed jobs to for Auditing/Final Account on the day of completion.
· To support your Contract Manager on all aspects of the claim
· To ensure all notes/documents \& emails have been added to RClaim relating to each job.
· To add updates on the job they may need to add to the client’s portal.
· To add supplier invoice costs \& copy of invoice to RClaim
