Civil Project Manager

<p><strong>Within our Civil Engineering practice</strong>, we are seeking an experienced and driven <strong>Project Manager</strong> to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to lead and support a wide variety of civil engineering projects across multiple sectors, including transportation, water/wastewater, community infrastructure, stormwater, and private development. We have opportunities available in Northern Nevada, Northern California, and Southern Idaho offices.</p>
<p>This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader who enjoys managing projects, mentoring staff, collaborating with clients, and contributing to business development while working on diverse and impactful infrastructure projects.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Lead and manage civil engineering projects from planning through design and construction.</li>
<li>Coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.</li>
<li>Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets.</li>
<li>Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, agencies, and project partners.</li>
<li>Provide technical oversight and QA/QC review.</li>
<li>Mentor and support early in career staff and project engineers.</li>
<li>Assist with business development, including proposals and client relationship management.</li>
</ul>
<p>Contribute to a variety of projects, which may include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Water distribution and wastewater systems (preferred)</li>
<li>Stormwater and drainage infrastructure</li>
<li>Municipal and public works projects</li>
<li>Transportation-related projects, including trails, roadway rehabilitation, and new roadway design</li>
<li>Land development and site design for private development and public/institutional projects</li>
</ul>

<p>The ideal candidate brings a mix of leadership, technical expertise, and business awareness:</p>
<ul>
<li>Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects.</li>
<li>Solid communication skills, including client interaction and public presentations.</li>
<li>Experience developing project budgets and managing financial performance.</li>
<li>A collaborative mindset with the ability to lead and mentor teams.</li>
<li>Experience delivering projects within one or more of our core market sectors, including transportation, water/wastewater, community infrastructure, stormwater, and private development.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.</li>
<li>A minimum of 7 years of progressive, relevant engineering and project management experience.</li>
<li>Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in California (or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe).</li>
<li>Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.</li>
<li>Valid driver license and driving record with 3 or less demerit points. </li>

<p>The compensation range reflects the Company’s reasonable expectation at the time of posting.
