BEMSCA is looking for a Chinese Community Worker to help shape the Next Generation of our services. With over 30 years of community impact, we support older people across Bath \& North East Somerset to stay connected, healthy and valued.

Duties

• Support Chinese elders and families


• Deliver activities, advice and outreach


• Work with health, social care and community partners


• Help reduce loneliness and promote wellbeing


• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well\-being.


• Document care activities accurately and report any concerns to senior staff.

• Relevant qualifications such as first aid certification are advantageous.


• Understanding of community engagement activities and Chinese culture is essential.


• Valid driving licence preferred for community outreach and off site meetings


• Excellent communication skills with a caring attitude towards elders of all ages,


• Organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.


• Flexibility to work shifts that may include evenings or weekends if necessary.

Pay: From £28,290\.00 per year
