Our Client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join their Cared for Children Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
- Hold a caseload of looked after children, including Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC), ensuring their safety, wellbeing and long-term outcomes remain central to all interventions.
- Complete statutory visits, assessments, care planning and reviews in line with legislation, policy and statutory timescales.
- Build positive relationships with children and young people, ensuring their wishes, feelings and lived experiences inform all decision-making.
- Support UASC and other looked after children to access appropriate education, health, legal and advocacy services, working effectively with interpreters and specialist agencies where required.
- Work collaboratively with foster carers, residential settings, families and partner agencies to promote placement stability and achieve permanence.
- Prepare high-quality assessments, reports and court documentation, maintaining accurate and timely case records.
- Support children and young people in achieving positive outcomes, including permanence planning, pathway planning and preparation for independence.
- Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
- Must have minimum of 3 year's experience working as a Qualified social worker
