Rate: £40 per hour

Pertemps Social Care are currently recruiting for an experienced Children’s Social Worker to join a Locality Team in Aylesbury.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of children and families, completing assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and working collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities • Manage a caseload of children and families within the Locality Team.
- Undertake assessments and identify children’s needs and risks.
- Develop and review care plans, ensuring children’s voices and needs are central to decision-making.
- Work collaboratively with families, schools, health professionals and other partner agencies.
- Undertake statutory social work duties in line with relevant legislation and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.
- Previous experience working within children’s social care.
- Experience managing a caseload within a locality, child protection or similar team.
- Strong assessment, communication and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work effectively with children, families and multi-agency professionals.
