Children's Social Worker - Localities Team
Location: South East England
Pay rate per hour: £40 per hour
Working Arrangement: Full Time Hours, Hybrid Working (2-3 Days from Home)
Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Children's Social Worker to join a busy Localities Team within a Local Authority in South East England.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated practitioner to work with children, young people and families, undertaking a varied caseload while benefiting from flexible hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of children and families requiring support and intervention.
- Complete assessments, child protection investigations and care planning.
- Undertake Child in Need, Child Protection and Looked After Children work.
- Develop and review plans to ensure positive outcomes for children and young people.
- Work closely with partner agencies, schools, health professionals and other stakeholders.
- Attend and contribute to multi-agency meetings and court proceedings where required.
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure statutory responsibilities are met.
- Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
- Previous experience within Children's Services, ideally within a Localities or Safeguarding Team.
- Strong assessment, report-writing and case management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and partnership-working abilities.
