Children's Residential Support Worker
Location: Oldham, OL8
Salary: Up to £33,703 per annum
Hours: Full\-time, permanent (37\.5 hours per week) with a flexible shift pattern, including evenings, weekends, and an average of two sleep\-ins per week (included in salary \- £55 per sleep\-in). Voluntary overtime is also available.

As a Children’s Residential Support Worker, you’ll be a crucial part of a passionate team, helping vulnerable young people through their challenges and creating positive change in their lives.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Residential Support Worker, your role will include:
- Supporting daily routines: Supporting children with personal care, meal preparation, and daily activities to help them develop independence
- Educational support: Encouraging and supporting children in their learning journey, assisting with homework, and helping them develop new skills
- Leading recreational activities: Organising and leading recreational activities, including fun events and holidays, to increase engagement and enhance well\-being.
- Emotional support: Providing guidance, care, and person\-centred support to help children navigate difficult moments
- Documentation: Completing care plans, reports, and maintaining accurate records.
- Maintaining a safe environment: Ensuring the home is clean, secure, and well\-organised
- Team collaboration: Working closely with colleagues to create a positive, nurturing environment
