Job Description:
Full time Residential Childcare Practitioner:
· £34,336\.62 \- £39,836\.98 representative when inclusive of sleep ins
· Rate of £101\.68 for each sleep in duty completed
About us:
Impact for Change was established in 2017 and currently provides care across three Children’s Homes in the Southwest. We believe every child deserves and has a right to a safe home and a positive childhood.
Due to the continued growth and development of the company, we are opening a fourth home and are now recruiting for a full staffing team to support this progression who hold experience within the residential childcare sector.
We are therefore currently seeking 3 x full\-time Residential Childcare Practitioners (RCPs) to help make this positive difference in the lives of our young people by creating a safe and stable environment with plenty of opportunities.

Experience, Qualification and Skill Requirements:
*Essential:*
· Experience of working with children who demonstrate emotional behavioural difficulty within the residential childcare sector.
· A commitment to complete, or an existing Level 3 or 4 qualification in residential childcare or Health \& Social Care (children and young people)
· Experience of PACE, trauma informed practice or play therapy.
· Full UK driving licence
If a relevant qualification is not held, we would facilitate enrolment onto the necessary programme and provide support for the duration.
Location:
Axminster, Devon
Salary and Hours:
Full time, permanent contract \- 39 hours per week.
*£34,336\.62 \- £39,836\.98 per annum inclusive of sleep ins at a rate of £101\.68 \- dependent on experience, qualification and number of sleep ins completed.*
Sleep in duties take place from 23:00pm – 07:00am and will equate to approximately 7\-10 per month on average at a rate of £101\.68 per sleep in.
Successful applicants will be required to work shifts based on a rolling rota as described above, which will fall over weekends and bank holidays.
