Aspire Care NW Ltd is opening a brand\-new therapeutic children’s home in Preston. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team from the very beginning, shaping a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where children can thrive.
The Role
As a Children’s Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in the lives of the young people we support. Working as part of a close\-knit team, you will:
- Provide consistent care and support to children with varying needs.
- Build positive, trusting relationships that promote emotional wellbeing.
- Support children with daily routines, education, and recreational activities.
- Follow care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support strategies.
- Promote independence, resilience, and positive outcomes for each child.
- Ensure safeguarding and welfare is at the centre of your practice.
- Work closely with colleagues, managers, and external professionals.
- A compassionate and resilient individual with a genuine passion for supporting children.
- Experience in residential childcare or a related care setting (preferred but not essential).
- A willingness to undertake mandatory and specialist training.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep\-ins.
- A full UK driving licence (preferred).
- An enhanced DBS check (to be completed if not already held).
