Salary: £29,500 \- £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Role
We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Therapeutic Children's Support Workers to join our growing residential childcare team in Burton\-on\-Trent.
Our therapeutic children's homes provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs. Through trauma\-informed and therapeutic approaches, including the PACE model, we help children build confidence, resilience, independence, and positive relationships.
With two Ofsted\-rated "Good" homes and a new home opening soon, this is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation committed to delivering outstanding care while supporting the wellbeing and development of its staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high\-quality care and support within a therapeutic residential setting.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people.
- Act as a consistent role model, promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
- Support children with daily routines, education, hobbies, and social activities.
- Encourage the development of life skills, independence, and self\-confidence.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver consistent, child\-centred care.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning and safeguarding practices.
We are looking for individuals who are:
- Passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people.
- Caring, patient, resilient, and able to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong communicators who work well as part of a team.
- Committed to therapeutic and trauma\-informed approaches to care.
- Flexible to work a rota including evenings, weekends, and sleep\-in shifts where required.
- Experienced in residential childcare or a similar support role (preferred but not essential).
