Childcare Manager Full Time or Job Share.

Killucan Care CLG requires an experienced manager Full Time or on a Job Share basis for its full day care community childcare service. The manager will ensure high standards of care, education, safety and well\-being of children, their families and staff.

*Essential Qualifications \& Experience:*

· Degree (Level 7 / Level 8\) in Early Childhood Care and Education or equivalent.

· A minimum of two years’ childcare management experience.

· Training and experience in managing staff. A qualification in HR will be a distinct advantage.

· A thorough knowledge of, and experience in implementing, the Pre School Regulations, Aistear and Siolta

· Training and experience in monitoring and implementing health and safety requirements.

· Training and thorough knowledge of Children First Guidelines

· A thorough knowledge of the ECCE and NCS schemes and their administrative requirements.

· Drawing up rota’s and report writing to various stake holders

· QQI Level 5 Occupational First Aid

*Training Requirement:*

· The ideal candidate will have strong people skills. She/he will have strong team management skills and will have the ability to work in partnership with the Board, parents and staff.

· She/he will have strong organisational, planning and administrative skills. This will include managing and maintaining the records required under the Pre School Regulations, Health and Safety, funders and Killucan Care CLG. It will include making returns to relevant government agencies and departments.

· Current Garda Vetting

· Two current work related references.
