Child Protection Advisor
Child Protection Advisors (CPAs) provide off-line scrutiny of arrangements for children in need of care and protection.
Staff undertaking these roles will have an identified lead responsibility for children subject to child protection plans and to contextual safeguarding child in need plans but will be required to provide cover to manage service demands and the needs of children and families.
- To provide a quality service that incorporates the rights of children, their views wishes and feelings, while working in partnership with parent, carers and other professionals.
- To develop and implement Quality Assurance Systems for the Department and undertake regular audits.
Child in care reviews or child protection conferences are not offered on a remote basis so the successful candidate will need to be able to travel to Haringey.
