Summary
The Governors of Fulwood \& Cadley Primary School are seeking to appoint a committed, enthusiastic and compassionate Child and Family Support Worker to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting children and families, helping to remove barriers to learning and improve outcomes. You will work closely with pupils, parents/carers, staff and external agencies to provide a personalised, whole\-family approach to support. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about making a difference and is committed to supporting our school community.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in partnership with school staff to identify and support pupils facing barriers to learning
- Work directly with children, young people and their families to assess needs and deliver targeted support, including Early Help interventions
- Undertake home visits and act as a key link between school and families to strengthen engagement
- Develop, implement and review action plans to improve outcomes for pupils and families
- Support and improve pupil attendance, punctuality, behaviour and engagement with learning
- Work closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead to promote and deliver safeguarding processes
- Liaise effectively with external agencies and contribute to multi\-agency planning and meetings
- Support the reintegration of pupils and provide pastoral support where needed
- Maintain accurate records and reports in line with school and local authority requirements

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.
