Join OSM Thome as Chief Engineer on a PSV operating offshore Denmark. You will lead the engine department, ensure safe and efficient vessel operations, and keep all machinery in top working order.
- Key responsibilities:
- Oversee operation and maintenance of main engines, auxiliaries and all technical systems
- Plan and carry out preventive maintenance and repairs
- Lead and supervise engine room crew, ensuring safe working practices
- Monitor fuel, lube oil and spare parts, and keep accurate records
- Ensure compliance with class, flag, company and safety regulations
- Work closely with the Master and bridge team to support safe vessel operations
- Requirements:
- Valid Chief Engineer license for seagoing vessels (STCW compliant)
- Proven experience as Chief Engineer, preferably on PSV or other offshore vessels
- DP Maintenance certificate will be considered an advantage
- Up\-to\-date STCW safety and offshore certifications as required
- Strong leadership and communication skills in an international crew
- Good command of English, written and spoken
