Change & Transformation Director

Change & Transformation Director | Outside IR35 Contract I'm supporting a leading public sector organisation seeking an experienced Change & Transformation Director to lead a complex, enterprise-wide transformation programme following a major organisational merger.

Post-merger, the organisation is entering a critical phase of integration and transformation. With senior leadership changes underway, they require an accomplished transformation leader to provide strategic direction, establish a clear roadmap, and ensure the organisation delivers against a unified vision and operating model.

Key Objectives • Develop and deliver a clear 3-year transformation strategy

• Establish an integrated portfolio across 20+ strategic transformation initiatives


• Create streamlined governance, prioritisation and delivery frameworks


• Align technology, people, operational and data strategies


• Deliver a sustainable succession and leadership capability plan


• Drive full organisational integration and cultural alignment

Key Responsibilities • Lead a complex portfolio of 20+ strategic transformation initiatives

• Drive post-merger integration across people, processes, technology and culture


• Establish effective governance, portfolio management and delivery frameworks


• Provide executive leadership across major business transformation programmes


• Develop succession planning and organisational capability strategies


• Harmonise policies, processes and operating models


• Influence and engage stakeholders at Board, Executive and operational levels

Ideal Background We're keen to speak with leaders who can demonstrate:

• Previous experience as a Transformation Director, Change Director, Programme Director or Transformation Executive


• Delivery of large-scale merger, integration or organisational redesign programmes


• Leadership of complex portfolios comprising multiple concurrent workstreams


• Strong executive and Board-level stakeholder management


• Expertise across technology, people, operational and cultural transformation


• Experience operating within large, complex organisations
