Centre Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Centre Manager to oversee daily operations within our facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth functioning, maintaining high standards of safety and quality, and leading a team to achieve organisational objectives. Duties

• Manage day\-to\-day operations of the centre, including scheduling and resource allocation


• Supervise and support staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment


• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections


• Oversee maintenance and utilisation of equipment, including hand tools and power tools


• Coordinate training programmes for staff to enhance operational efficiency


• Implement process improvements to optimise workflow and productivity


• Maintain accurate records of activities, inventories, and safety documentation


• Handle customer enquiries and resolve any operational issues promptly


• Conduct regular safety briefings and ensure adherence to safety protocols, especially during heavy lifting tasks

Experience

• Proven experience in managing operational teams within a technical or industrial setting


• Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in the use of hand tools and power tools


• Experience in overseeing maintenance or equipment management is desirable


• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of daily tasks


• Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively


• Prior experience in health and safety compliance is advantageous

Pay: £32,000\.00\-£45,000\.00 per year
