Catering Manager – Data Centre Project (Farciennes, Belgium)

The Food Box is looking for an experienced and motivated Catering Manager to lead our catering operation on a major hyperscale data centre construction project in Farciennes, Belgium.
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a large\-scale catering facility serving hundreds of workers daily on a project expected to run for approximately 2 years.
The Role
As Catering Manager, you will be responsible for the day\-to\-day running of the catering operation, ensuring excellent food quality, customer service, food safety, and team performance.
You will lead a team of chefs, kitchen assistants, and front\-of\-house staff while working closely with site management and our senior leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily catering operation
- Lead, motivate and develop the catering team
- Ensure HACCP and food safety compliance
- Manage stock, ordering and supplier relationships
- Control labour and food costs
- Plan menus and daily specials
- Maintain high customer service standards
- Organise wellbeing events and themed food days
- Liaise with client representatives and site management
- Ensure the canteen remains clean, professional and fully operational
- Previous experience as a Catering Manager, Head Chef or Senior Catering Supervisor
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Experience managing teams and budgets
- Good understanding of HACCP and food safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent English required
- Driving licence preferred
