The Supply Register is proud to be working in close collaboration with West Lancashire College to recruit an experienced Catering & Hospitality Lecturer. About the Role West Lancashire College is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable lecturer to deliver both practical and classroom-based learning within Catering & Hospitality. You will contribute to the development of course materials, assessments, and innovative teaching approaches that inspire learners and support their progression into industry.

Key Responsibilities • Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across Catering & Hospitality programmes

• Develop course content, assessments, and learning materials


• Support learners with a range of needs, demonstrating empathy, patience, and resilience


• Manage groups effectively and maintain a positive learning environment


• Contribute to continuous quality improvement within the department


• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the college

Essential Requirements • A minimum Level 4 qualification in Catering, Hospitality, or a related discipline

• A Level 5 teaching qualification (Cert Ed/PGCE) or willingness to work towards one


• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal


• Ability to work independently, manage workload, and use initiative


• Understanding of quality standards in teaching and learning

Desirable Requirements • Experience supporting students with SEND

• Knowledge of current industry trends and practices
