General / Catering Assistant, Soho, London, Monday to Friday 7am till 3.30pm (Daytimes Only), £31,200 per annum (£15 per hour) + Overtime + Benefits, Amazing Corporate Company

This isn't just another Catering Assistant job...

What if you could walk into work every day knowing that where you work, the people you work alongside and the standards you deliver actually matter?

We are looking for an exceptional General / Catering Assistant to join a premium corporate hospitality team in the heart of Soho, London.

This is an opportunity to work within an impressive, high-end professional environment where hospitality, service and attention to detail are genuinely valued.

And that's important – because this isn't a coffee shop, high-street café or traditional canteen. The standards are high. The environment is prestigious. And the expectations are even higher.

If you take genuine pride in delivering great service, enjoy being part of a professional team and love those moments when a customer walks away thinking "that was excellent", we want to hear from you.

As a General / Catering Assistant, you'll play an important role in creating an outstanding hospitality experience.

You'll be involved in a variety of activities across the operation, meaning no two days will necessarily be the same.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing warm, polished and professional customer service

  • Serving food and beverages to an exceptionally high standard

  • Setting up and maintaining hospitality, catering and event areas

  • Clearing tables and ensuring front-of-house areas remain immaculate

  • Supporting the events and hospitality team with meetings and events

  • Assisting with corporate hospitality and special functions

  • Preparing service areas before, during and after service

  • Replenishing food, beverages and hospitality areas

  • Maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation and hygiene

  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure every service runs smoothly

  • Responding positively to customer requests and going the extra mile whenever possible

  • Following all food safety, health & safety and company procedures

Who are we looking for?

We're not simply looking for someone who has worked in hospitality.

We're looking for someone who understands what exceptional hospitality actually looks like.

You may currently be working as a Catering Assistant, Hospitality Assistant, Waiter/Waitress, Food & Beverage Assistant, Front of House Assistant, Events Assistant or General Assistant within a high-quality hospitality environment.

Your experience could come from:

  • Premium contract catering

  • A prestigious corporate client environment

  • A high-end or fine-dining restaurant

  • A luxury hotel

  • Corporate hospitality

  • Events and banqueting

  • A premium members' club or similar environment

Experience within a high-end contract catering environment serving prestigious corporate clients would be particularly advantageous.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has genuine customer service and hospitality experience

  • Understands the importance of presentation and attention to detail

  • Is naturally friendly, approachable and professional

  • Takes pride in their appearance and the environment around them

  • Has energy, enthusiasm and a positive attitude

  • Is comfortable working at pace while maintaining high standards

  • Works brilliantly as part of a team

  • Is reliable, organised and takes responsibility for getting things right

  • Doesn't wait to be asked when they can see something that needs doing

  • Understands that the little things often make the biggest difference

Why this opportunity?

Because the environment matters.

You'll be working within a prestigious professional setting in Soho, surrounded by high standards and a team that understands the difference between simply providing a service and delivering exceptional hospitality.

You'll have the opportunity to develop your experience across corporate hospitality, events, food service and front-of-house, while becoming part of a professional team where your contribution will be noticed and valued.

And there's another big advantage...

Monday to Friday. Daytime hours. No late nights. No weekend shifts.

It's a fantastic opportunity to build a long-term career in premium corporate hospitality while enjoying an excellent work-life balance.

Ready to raise your game?

If you're currently working in a quality restaurant, premium contract catering operation, luxury hotel or corporate hospitality environment and you're ready to take the next step into an impressive new setting, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.

We're not looking for someone who simply wants a job.

We're looking for someone who wants to be part of a team that believes great hospitality makes a difference.

If you have the experience, attitude and ambition to deliver service that genuinely stands out, we'd love to hear from you.
