We are currently looking for a Category Manager to drive strategic growth and global category excellence. You’ll leverage deep insights and strategic thinking to optimize product assortments and achieve our ambitious commercial goals.
What you will do
- Define and execute global category strategies aligned with overarching business objectives.
- Identify growth opportunities, optimize product assortment, and create differentiated strategies to achieve sustained success.
- Regularly analyse financial, onsite, and customer data, translating insights into concrete, actionable plans.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity closely, deriving strategic implications for category planning.
- Collaborate closely with product development, merchandising, trading, and marketing teams to effectively implement category strategies.
- Support establishing efficient working practices across multiple teams, enabling category scalability on a global level.
What you should bring
- Minimum of 3 years' proven category management experience in an international e\-commerce environment.
- Strong commercial acumen, with a history of driving revenue, profitability, and market share through informed assortment strategies.
- Exceptional analytical abilities, interpreting sales data, market research, and performance metrics to optimize category results.
- Strong strategic skills, adept at translating customer insights and market trends into practical category plans.
- Effective cross\-functional collaboration, able to work seamlessly with diverse teams including product development, marketing, and trading.
- Customer\-focused mindset with a commitment to enhancing the shopping experience and anticipating market needs.
- Resilience, adaptability, and a results\-driven approach in dynamic, fast\-paced environments.
- High levels of self\-organization, independence, and ownership, coupled with initial experience in mentoring junior team members.
