What you'll do

• You will lead strategic energy procurement and risk management activities across the EMEA region, with a focus on the Gypsum and Insulation business units


• In close collaboration with internal stakeholders and regional teams, you will develop sourcing strategies, analyse market and regulatory developments, and translate insights into effective procurement decisions


• You will manage approved hedging strategies for electricity and natural gas, ensure transparent reporting, and lead negotiations with suppliers across local and regional markets


• In addition, you will strengthen forecasting and cost transparency, identify efficiency opportunities, and support the implementation of energy\-saving initiatives across sites


• By combining commercial expertise with a forward\-looking mindset, you will also play an important role in advancing Knauf’s sustainability and decarbonisation agenda

Who you are

• You hold a degree in Energy Management, Energy Procurement, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a comparable qualification


• Several years of experience in strategic energy procurement in an international environment and bring a strong understanding of energy markets, procurement strategies, risk management, and hedging concepts


• With your analytical mindset, negotiation skills, and entrepreneurial approach, you know how to identify opportunities and create value


• You communicate confidently across cultures, manage stakeholders effectively, and work comfortably with MS Office and SAP


• You are fluent in English, additional languages are a plus, and your profile is rounded off by a self\-driven, collaborative, and solution\-oriented way of working
