Carpet & Flooring Sales Consultant

About the Role

We are a leading local flooring specialist looking for a confident, motivated, and well\-spoken Sales Consultant to join our team. This is a dual\-purpose role that involves engaging with customers in our showroom and visiting clients on\-site to provide accurate measurements and expert advice.

Key Responsibilities

• In\-Store Sales: Welcoming customers to the showroom, identifying their needs, and advising on suitable flooring options (carpet, vinyl, laminate, LVT, etc.).


• On\-Site Measuring: Visiting residential and commercial properties to take accurate measurements and assess floor conditions.


• Estimating \& Quoting: Preparing professional and competitive quotes based on measurements and product selections.


• Lead Management: Following up on enquiries and leads to convert them into confirmed orders.


• Customer Service: Providing a high level of after\-sales support and coordinating with fitters to ensure a smooth installation process.

Requirements (Must\-Haves)

• Experience: Previous experience specifically in carpet and flooring sales is essential. You should have strong product knowledge across various materials.


• Driving Licence: A full, clean UK driving licence is mandatory, as you will be required to drive to appointments for measurements.


• Communication: Excellent spoken and written English with the ability to build rapport with customers.


• Numeracy: Strong mathematical skills for calculating floor areas and preparing accurate quotes.


• Attitude: Highly motivated, reliable, and able to work independently.

Schedule

• 5 Days a week including Saturdays


• 9\-5 pm
