We are urgently seeking a temporary Lecturer in Carpentry to join our team at the South East London Campus. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality carpentry training to students.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver engaging and effective training sessions in Carpentry to a diverse group of learners.


• Prepare lesson plans and materials, ensuring alignment with curriculum requirements.


• Assess student work, provide constructive feedback, and support students in achieving their learning goals.


• Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement and success.


• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the delivery of carpentry courses and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience and expertise in Carpentry.


• Qualified to teach at a further education level (e.g., PGCE, Certificate in Education, or equivalent).


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire learners.


• Commitment to professional development and staying updated with industry standards and teaching methods.


• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
