About the Role
We are currently recruiting on behalf of HISP Multi Academy Trust (HISP MAT) for two School Caretaker / Site Manager positions based in Hampshire. These are excellent opportunities for reliable and proactive individuals looking to secure a long-term role within a school environment.
The successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation, safety, and maintenance of the school site.
Key Responsibilities
- Opening and securing the school premises each day
- Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs
- Ensuring the school grounds are safe, clean, and well-maintained
- Managing site health and safety procedures
- Monitoring contractors working on site
- Setting up rooms and facilities for school events and activities
- Conducting regular site inspections and reporting any issues
- Assisting with emergency call-outs where required
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have previous experience in a caretaker, facilities, maintenance, site supervisor, or site manager role
- Are practical, hands-on, and able to carry out basic repairs
- Have a strong awareness of health and safety procedures
- Can work independently and manage their own workload
- Are reliable, trustworthy, and professional
- Have experience within a school or educational environment (desirable but not essential)
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate (preferred) or are willing to undertake one
- Immediate start available
