Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high\-quality support to individuals in care homes and within their own homes. The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the wellbeing and independence of clients by delivering personalised care in a respectful and professional manner. Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility


• Support clients with medication reminders and health monitoring as required


• Help with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs are met


• Maintain accurate care plans tailored to each individual’s needs


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a friendly environment


• Assist with light domestic tasks to maintain a clean and safe living space


• Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client condition to senior staff


• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided


• Good command of English, both spoken and written, for effective communication


• Basic IT skills for maintaining documentation and updating care plans


• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds


• Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ wellbeing


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast\-paced environment


• Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as required
