Position: Full\-time and Part\-time Community Care Worker
No Experience Necessary – Comprehensive Training Provided!
Are you compassionate, caring, and looking to make a real difference in people’s lives? At A Kind Homecare, we believe in providing high\-quality, person\-centred care, and we are currently expanding our team due to high demand in the local area.
As a Community Care Worker, you’ll have the opportunity to support individuals in their own homes, helping them maintain independence and dignity. No prior experience is required as we provide full in\-house and online training to set you up for success. However, a driving license is essential for this role due to the nature of the job.
Current Roles Available:
We are currently looking for full\-time and part\-time individuals. You will ideally be able to work 1\-2 evenings during the week, and every other weekend OR one day every weekend.
We are looking for individuals who are able to work an early shift (7\-2\) OR a later shift (3\-10\). Though these are not the only roles available. If you are able to do a mixture of early and late shifts then please apply and we can discuss the opportunities available.
We are not able to solely offer positions within school hours of 9\-2\.
This role requires evening availability.

Your Role Will Involve:
- Assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, and oral hygiene)
- Supporting with meal preparation and assisting with dietary needs
- Administering, assisting, and documenting medication as required
- Helping with moving and handling tasks to improve service users' quality of life
- Completing light household tasks (cleaning, hoovering, etc.) to ensure a clean and safe environment
- Providing companionship and supporting social visits
- Completing online documentation including care notes and electronic medication records accurately.
- Compassionate and caring with a genuine desire to help others
- Flexible, resilient, and able to adapt to changing situations
- Great communicators with excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail\-oriented and committed to providing the highest standards of care
- Have a good level of written English and an eye for detail when writing care notes.
