Care Operations Manager

You will drive excellence, inspire teams, and ensure the highest standards of care for people in their own homes.

This is a pivotal leadership role where you’ll combine strategic oversight with hands-on management to make a real difference in people’s lives every day.

Responsibilities

• Foster a positive, values-driven culture focused on compassion and quality


• Be involved in recruitment, onboarding, and retention of staff


• Manage day-to-day operations and growth of domiciliary care services


• Monitor KPIs, performance metrics, and service delivery standards


• Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and all relevant legislation


• Maintain high standards of care, safety, and safeguarding


• Assist with preparation for inspections and implement continuous improvement plans


• Build strong relationships with clients, families, and other care professionals


• Handle escalations, complaints, and service reviews professionally


• Promote the service within the local community


• Manage budgets, cost control, and financial performance


• Drive growth and sustainability of the service

• Proven experience in domiciliary care specifically in growing private client markets


• Strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory frameworks


• Leadership experience in a care setting


• Excellent organisational and communication skills


• Full UK driving licence and car


• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (desirable)


• Business development or growth experience
