To provide high\-quality personal, physical, and emotional care to residents, ensuring they are treated with dignity, respect, and compassion. The role involves supporting residents with daily living activities, promoting independence where possible, and contributing to a safe, comfortable, and caring environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and continence care.
- Assist residents with mobility, transferring, and repositioning using appropriate equipment where required.
- Support residents with eating and drinking, ensuring their nutritional and hydration needs are met.
- Build positive relationships with residents, offering companionship and emotional support.
- Observe and report any changes in residents' physical or mental health to senior staff.
- Maintain accurate care records, daily notes, and incident reports.
- Help residents participate in social, recreational, and therapeutic activities.
- Ensure residents' bedrooms and communal areas remain clean, safe, and comfortable.
- Follow individual care plans and support residents according to their personal preferences.
- Adhere to safeguarding, infection prevention and control, health and safety, and moving and handling procedures.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, nurses, healthcare professionals, and residents' families.
- Compassionate, patient, and caring attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good observation and problem\-solving skills.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for record keeping.
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential.
- NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it) is advantageous.
- Completion of mandatory training, including safeguarding, moving and handling, infection control, and first aid, is beneficial.

Pay: £13\.10 per hour
