Care Assistant

Positions Available:

• We have a day carer position which is for 4 shifts per week i.e. 28 hours to start as soon as possible. Our shift times are 8\.00am to 3\.00pm and 3\.00pm to 10\.00pm.


• We have a night carer position which is for 2 shifts per week i.e. 20 hours to start as soon as possible. Our shift times are 10\.00pm to 8\.00am.


• We also have a bank position available (days and/or nights) for anyone who is looking to pick up additional hours without being tied into a weekly contract.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care and support to residents.


• Assist with personal care tasks, including toileting and grooming.


• Respond promptly to residents' calls for assistance.


• Maintain a safe and secure environment.


• Maintain accurate records of care provided.


• Collaborate with the care team to ensure residents' needs are met.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a care or support role.


• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (desirable).


• Compassionate and patient nature.


• Good communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work effectively in a team.


• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends.


• Enhanced DBS clearance.
