Summary

We are seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our dedicated team at Ganarew House Care Home. Based in our welcoming care home, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents' daily needs and enriching their lives through attentive care and engaging activities.

Hours

• Day Shifts


• 36\-48 hours per week


• Alternating weekends

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.


• Follow individualized care plans to meet each resident's specific needs.


• Support residents in participating in recreational activities and social events.


• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions.


• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.


• Promote a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all residents.


• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure high\-quality care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred.


• Excellent communication skills and a caring nature.


• Ability to follow detailed care plans and procedures.


• Valid driving license is advantageous but not essential.


• Basic IT skills for documentation purposes.


• Fluency in English.


• Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude towards elderly care.

Pay: £13\.00\-£13\.30 per hour
