We are seeking a caring and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Ferncross residential home in GB. This vital role involves supporting residents with their daily needs and ensuring they receive the highest standard of care, contributing directly to our mission of compassionate support.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care, mobility, and daily activities to promote independence.
- Develop and follow personalized care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with team members.
- Support residents in engaging with social activities and community events.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all residents.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
- Uphold the dignity, respect, and rights of every individual under your care.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience or interest in working within a care home or home care setting.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to work as part of a team with compassion and professionalism.
- Valid driving license is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes.
- A genuine desire to improve the lives of others through caring support.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of care plans and procedures is preferred.
Pay: £12\.71\-£13\.01 per hour
