Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility to promote comfort and independence.

  • Follow individualized care plans meticulously to meet each person's specific needs and preferences.

  • Support with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals, ensuring safety and accuracy.

  • Maintain clear communication with team members, residents, and families to ensure seamless care delivery.

  • Use IT systems to update records, document care activities, and track progress efficiently.

  • Drive company vehicles when needed for home care visits or errands, ensuring safe transportation.

  • Contribute to creating a positive environment by engaging residents in social activities and companionship.
Qualifications
  • Valid driving license with the ability to operate a vehicle safely for home visits or errands.

  • Experience working in a care home or providing home care services is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.

  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English to understand care instructions and interact with residents confidently.

  • Basic IT skills for maintaining electronic records and updating care plans accurately.

  • Strong communication skills to build trusting relationships with residents, families, and team members.

  • Knowledge of care plans and procedures relevant to elderly or vulnerable individuals is advantageous.
