Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to support individuals with their daily needs. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high\-quality care within care homes or home care settings, ensuring residents and clients feel valued, safe, and comfortable.

Duties

• Assist residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming while respecting their dignity and privacy.


• Support individuals with mobility and daily activities, encouraging independence where possible.


• Follow personalized care plans to meet each person's specific needs and preferences.


• Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems and ensure compliance with care standards.


• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to promote understanding and trust.


• Assist with medication administration in accordance with prescribed instructions and legal guidelines.


• Support transportation needs by driving clients to appointments or activities when required.


• Promote a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.

Experience

• Previous experience working within a care home or home care environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.


• Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate documentation and updating care records.


• Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients, families, and colleagues.


• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast\-paced setting.


• A valid driving license is advantageous for roles involving transportation duties.

Pay: £13\.45 per hour

Expected hours: 12\.0 – 46\.0 per week
