Care Assistant (Bank) – Knowle Court

Shift pattern: 12 hour shifts 08:00 \- 20:00 and 20:00 \- 08:00 (must be flexible to work both)

About the Role

We are looking to recruit a team of Bank Care Assistants to support our service at Knowle Court.

This flexible, casual role is ideal for individuals looking to work around other commitments while still making a meaningful difference. As a bank worker, you will cover planned absences, annual leave, and short\-notice staffing needs.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting residents with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)


• Assisting with moving and handling safely


• Supporting with meals, hydration, and daily routines


• Providing emotional support and companionship


• Following care plans and maintaining accurate records


• Working as part of a team to ensure safe, high\-quality careAbout Younot

About You

We are looking for individuals who are:

• Compassionate, reliable, and person\-centred


• Comfortable providing hands\-on personal care


• Able to support with moving and handling tasks


• Flexible and willing to pick up shifts when available


• Confident working both independently and as part of a team

Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, full training can be provided.

Key Information

• This is a bank (casual) position – there is no obligation for us to offer work, nor for you to accept it


• Shifts are offered based on service needs and your availability


• You will be paid £13\.25 per hour via PAYE


• Holiday pay is accrued and paid quarterly


• Subject to DBS and satisfactory references
