Car Sales Manager

Our client, a prestigious franchise-approved car dealership located in Swansea, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Used Car Sales Manager to join their team. This is a rare opportunity to lead a dedicated sales team within a reputable dealership and contribute to the ongoing success of the business.

• Circa £37,000 basic salary with uncapped annual earnings exceeding £70,000

Duties of the Car Sales Manager:

• Lead and motivate a team of Sales Executives to surpass sales targets and objectives


• Develop and implement policies to enhance profitability across vehicle, finance, insurance, and accessory sales


• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention


• Oversee vehicle purchasing processes and stock control


• Work closely with senior management to optimise operational efficiency and cost management


• Ensure process adherence and improve forecourt management standards


• Lead by example, embodying the brand values to inspire your team and deliver exceptional customer service

Requirements of the Car Sales Manager:

• Proven management experience within a franchise-approved car dealership, ideally with exposure to a busy brand


• A strong background in vehicle sales and finance & insurance (F&I)


• Experience managing a medium to large-sized dealership is preferable


• Recent or current experience in a sales management role is essential


• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team


• A full UK driving license with minimal points


• Strong understanding of franchise policies, sales processes, and profitability strategies
