OVERVIEW
An established automotive retailer is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Executive to join its successful sales team in Swindon.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to build a long-term career in automotive sales, working with a strong product range and a busy, high-quality enquiry stream. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding customers through the full vehicle purchasing journey while delivering outstanding customer service and achieving sales targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage inbound and outbound sales enquiries across showroom, telephone and digital channels.
- Qualify customer needs and recommend suitable new and used vehicle options.
- Conduct vehicle presentations and arrange test drives.
- Guide customers through the full sales process from enquiry to handover.
- Maximise finance, insurance and value-added product opportunities in line with compliance standards.
- Build strong long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions using dealership systems.
- Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to team performance goals.
- Follow up all leads promptly to maximise conversion rates.
- Deliver a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Previous experience in a sales role, ideally within automotive retail.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Target-driven with a proven ability to meet and exceed objectives.
- Professional, enthusiastic and customer-focused approach.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Sales Executive.
- Franchised dealership experience.
- Knowledge of automotive finance and insurance products.
- Proven track record of achieving sales and customer satisfaction targets.
