Cafe Manager
As we expand our team at The Tram Cafe, we're excited to welcome a Café Manager to join us at our cafe located in The Tram Cafe, Clonmel Street, Dublin 2\.
If you have experience in a Cafe Manager busy customer facing role, then we would love to hear from you. We are currently recruiting for a Café Manager on a full\-time basis.
The Café Manager is responsible for the overall running of the café and will report directly to the operations manager and area manager. This role will assume responsibility for leading the cafe team, ensuring smooth operations, and upholding high standards of customer service.
Sales \& Labour
- Identify additional sales opportunities to create better revenues.
- Create and implement sales driven incentives and deals for customers.
- Identify seasonal sales growth opportunities.
- Manage the labour costs effectively ensuring high productivity at all times.
- Train all new staff and constantly monitor the development of existing staff.
- Be able to spot training needs within the team and provide guidance and support where necessary such as refresher training or development in unskilled areas.
- Conduct regular check\-ins with staff both informally and formally.
- Possess good people management skills and be able to handle issues as they arise.
- Ensure the team are compliant with all company procedures and policies as outlined in the company handbook.
- Inform staff of new procedures and policies as they arise.
- Ensure the team meet deadlines and complete any documentation required on time such as contracts, company handbook, training documents etc.
- Prepare weekly rosters and monitoring time keeping.
- Monitor completion of all paperwork including cleaning rosters, cash ups, temperature record charts, etc.
- Oversee supplier orders and deliveries.
- Input/approve employee timecards on Bizimply.
- Input sales figures into Bizimply weekly.
- Prepare and submit weekly management reports.

Expected hours: 40\-45 hours per week
Job Type: Full\-time
Pay: €34,000\.00\-€35,000\.00 per year
